About Me
I’m a machine learning researcher interested in applied ML, robotics, and efficient representation learning. Since May 2025, I’ve been working with the GRAIL Lab at NYU Courant (CILVR), advised by Prof. Lerrel Pinto. My goal is to design systems that are not only intelligent but adaptable, bridging theory and practice.
Research:
I study how robots can learn from multimodal sensory data with minimal supervision, aiming for methods that are efficient and generalizable. Previously, I worked on learned image compression for bandwidth-constrained settings.
Interests:
robot learning (RL/IL), representation learning, multimodal models, efficient/low-resource learning.
Education & Experience:
I'm currently pursuing my Master's in Computer Science at NYU Tandon. Before this, I spent ~3 years at Apple as a Machine Learning Engineer and iOS Developer (2020 - 2023), and I hold a B.Tech in Computer Science from NIT Karnataka.
I'm into sports (basketball and table tennis are my favorites), traveling, and photography. I also enjoy picking up new hobbies (lately, I've been learning to play the ukulele) and I'm happiest when exploring new spots or capturing candid moments.
